ABOUT TARSILA KRÜSE

Tarsila Krüse is an award-winning illustrator born in Brazil and Irish at heart. She creates whimsical illustrations and picturebooks that invite children & grownups to connect to their inner feelings.

Tarsila visits libraries & schools and facilitates workshops at various events. She also works as a Champion of Reading at St. Joseph’s NS in Dundalk helping to foster a love for stories & books and regularly writes children’s books reviews for Inis Magazine.

When not working you can find Tarsila playing with her son, walking her dogs (Pixel & Tag), doing pilates or learning a language (Haigh, a chairde!). She enjoys listening to podcasts, journalling, reading, DIYing, drinking oat milk cappuccinos and eating cinnamon rolls with her hubby. Her favourite season is autumn and she always carries a sketchbook with her so she can draw and daydream anywhere.
