I had the amazing pleasure of painting a massive wall at the Cabra Park Urban Gallery along with talented Irish illustrator and artist Nicola Colton.
The Cabra Park Urban Gallery is an community initiative which aims to brighten up the back alleyways of Cabra Park, off North Circular Road.
It is a great idea, and as such, it is a part of the ”Let’s Colour” project by Dulux, the great people who provided the artists with the paint needed.
Nicola and myself had an idea of what we wanted to paint and with such a wonderful (and big) canvas we chose to approach it collaboratively.
I was very happy to be part of the Cabra Park Urban Gallery which includes the works of many different artists and had already caused great impact in the community, changing what was once described by locals as a “vile” space.
A very special “Thank You” to wonderful multi-task-woman Ursula Lynch, who looked after us while we were there; to talented Kevin Bohan, who brought the project to our attention and to Dulux, for providing the paint we needed to colour up Cabra Park!
